You Can Sit With Us – Third Edition
Russell and Jordan – 2LG Studio’s inclusive show You Can Sit With Us returned for its third edition at London Design Festival 2025, transforming Shoreditch Town Hall into an underground salon for Design London. The exhibition showcased queer design talent across lighting, furniture, ceramics, glass, art, and textiles.
This year’s theme, Green Carnation, was inspired by Oscar Wilde, who famously wore the flower as a subtle signal of his queerness. Long adopted as a symbol within the queer community, it framed the exhibition as a gathering of creative voices — a conversation and a safe space.
Alongside the exhibition, 2LG Studio offered tarot readings and hosted talks and a spoken-word event in the main talks space, deepening the narrative around the installation.
Odd Universe was invited to present a preview of BOLD, a new aluminium furniture collection. Two mid-process prototypes were shown: a tall console table and a bench.
